This morning Kenzie and I made a craft (from pinterest-- I think im addicted lol) and listened to pandora.  I actually was searching for Christmas music when I ran into the toddler channel.  I never knew that it existed.  Kenzie loved it.  Now we are just waiting for Tyler to get home so that he can make his.  Pictures to post soon....

This was a lot of fun to make. I want to start making them for all of the different holiday now :) Very simple.

Sock Monkey

Tyler (my 9 year old son) asked me to make him a sock monkey.  So last night- I did a little research on the internet to find the directions (ended up being very successful- tons out there that were very helpful) and today we headed to target to get the socks.  My 4 year old little girl wanted one as well.  This was the end result  (don't laugh...)   :-) It was definitely a learning experience.  My 1st pair of sock I had to throw away.  ha...  Glad I bought an extra pair!  

I do believe I need some handstitching practice...  hehe...  His poor mouth.

But, Tyler loved it.  I told him that I was going to remake him another and he said, "No Momma- this one is perfect."

{1st try at heat and bond}

This was my first time using heat & bond lite on my applique.  It seems to have worked great! I have not washed the shirt yet--but I have heard a lot of good things about this product.  Can't wait to see how it turns out! :-)  I think it is going to be worth the few extra steps.

Thanks mom for showing me how to do the little flower.  It was actually easier to do it by hand than using my little gadget. ;-)

This is actually an (in the hoop)felt banner design that I turned into a hair bow holder.  I am going to use this pattern to make Mackenzie's 4th Birthday banner.  She wants a My little Pony party. :)  Can't wait to see how it turns out.
